What This Wedding Photographer In Toronto Has Been Up To…

…Baby Cael Dean was born almost 3 weeks early, on March 13th! He was due March 31st, but decided early on the 13th that he was not waiting any longer. We checked into Markham Stouffville Hospital at 12 noon, and had a healthy baby boy in our arms by 1:45, weighing-in at 8lbs, 9oz.

Being an expecting wedding photographer in Toronto is always going to come with that looming thought: “What if the baby comes while I’m shooting a wedding?!!?”.  Just this past July one of my best friends, a fellow Toronto wedding photographer had his wife go into labor during his busiest wedding photography weekend of the year. I happily stepped-up to help him, and ended up shooting two days in a row for him so that he could be there while his beautiful baby girl was born…

I’m happy to report that Cael’s timing could not have been better! He arrived during my biggest break in-between weddings, when all of my post-production is caught-up. I’ve been blessed to be able to focus entirely on my family while business has not even been phased. So far, Cael has been making things as easy as possible for his proud new parents:) He joins his brother Lukas, his Mom and his Dad as the fourth member of the Dean family. Who knows…maybe we have a future wedding photographer on our hands;)wedding photographer in Toronto

Every Wedding Photographer needs a blog! Here is a collection of just some of the weddings that I've photographed, engagement photography, and stories about the couples that I've had the pleasure of working with, both in Toronto and outside of the GTA. Although not every wedding will be featured here, but I do try to keep it updated with work every now and then. If you're visiting for the first time, please feel free to leave a comment or share my work with friends!
