Always trying to expand my horizons, I had made the decision this year to try to escape being just a Toronto wedding photographer. Tamara and Chris’ wedding was a perfect chance to shoot something a bit less Urban. I was excited when they described the intimate setting of their family’s farm in Uxbridge. Though I blew yet another 430exII flash during the ceremony (ARRR!) that was about the only hiccup in an otherwise perfect day. The farm house had an authentic old-world charm that I don’t see too often. In a word full of faux-antiques and retro vintage overload, this was real.
